12 - Create a Report

This documentation will explain how to create a basic report via Five's Report Wizard. A report is based on one or multiple data sources, we will use the DailyVolumeQuery for the data.

Navigate to the Report Wizard

1. Click Visual in the menu.

2. Click Report Wizard in the sub-menu.

Add the Daily Volume Report

1. Type Daily Volume Report in the Name field.

There are several ways to generate a report in your application, we are going to keep the Add Menu Item switch on, when the menu item is clicked the report will generate.

2. Click the Add Data Sources button.

3. Click the lookup icon in the Data Sorce field and select DailyVolumeQuery.

4. Click the Next button.

5. Type Daily Volume January 2020 in the Header field.

6. Click the lookup icon in the Fields field and select all the fields.

7. Click the Save button in the Report Wizard app bar.

TIPS

Once you have saved a report via our Report Wizard, you will find the report record in the Reports view. To navigate to the Reports view, click Visual in the menu followed by clicking Reports in the sub-menu.

This is a good time to run the Portfolio application to check your Daily Volume Report!
