How to Use an Authentication with SSO

Once you have an authentication record saved, you can use this multiple times for any instance record that you have for your application. The authentication will become available on all instance records for your application. You need to turn the switch on to have the authentication applied to an instance of your application.

Each instance record is not limited to only having one authentication.

When working in the Cloud, only Administrator and Control users can add and manage the authentication methods on an instance record.

Navigate to Instances

1. Select Setup in the menu.

2. Select Instances in the sub-menu.

Add an Authentication Method

tip

You cannot edit an instance record if it is deployed!

1. Select an instance record in the list.

2. Click the Authentication Methods tab.

3. Click the Edit button in the form app, or click direcly on a switch.

4. Click the required authentication method switch/es.

5. Click the Save button in the form app bar.
