Local and Trial Accounts to Basic Plan

Last updated 14/05/2024

Purchasing the Basic plan will give you one Administrator (admin) user with the Administrator role. Your license will restrict you from adding any other users in Five, however, you can add as many users as you want in your end user application.

How Do I Develop Applications with a Basic Plan?

You will develop your application in your local version of Five, when you are ready to deploy your application to the web you will need to export the application into a Five Definition File (FDF) and import it into your Five cloud account.

All future development will be performed in your Five local account and when you are ready to update your cloud account, you need to:

  • Export your application again from your local account.
  • Import your application's FDF file into your cloud account.

Five will automatically update the current version of your application with the new version of your application.

info
You can backup the current version of your application in your cloud account before importing the new version of your application. You can also take a backup of just your data.

Coming From a Trial License
