How to Upkeep Your Dashboards

This documentation explains how to upkeep your dashboards in Five.

Edit A Dashboard Record

  1. Select Dashboards in the menu.

  2. Select the required Dashboard record in the list.

  3. Either click the Edit button in the form app bar, or click directly in a field.

  4. Perform your changes.

  5. Click the Save button in the form app bar.

Edit a Dashboard Action Record

  1. Select Dashboards in the menu.

  2. Select the required Dashboard record in the list.

  3. Click the Actions tab.

  4. Select the required Dashboard Action in the list.

  5. Either click the Edit button in the form app bar or click directly a field.

  6. Perform your changes.

  7. Click the Save button in the form app bar.

  8. Click the Save button in the app bar above the list.

Delete a Dashboard Record

You will need to click the Edit button in the form app bar to have the Delete button available.


  1. Select Dashboards in the menu.

  2. Select the required Dashboard record in the list.

  3. Click the Edit button in the form app bar.

  4. Click the Delete button in the form app bar.

  5. Click the Yes button to the Five notification asking 'Do you want to delete this record?'

Cancel Deleting the Dashboard Record

  1. Click the No button to the Five notification asking 'Do you want to delete this record?'

Delete a Dashboard Action Record

  1. Select Dashboards in the menu.

  2. Select the required Dashboard record in the list.

  3. Click the Actions tab.

  4. Select the required Dashboard Action record in the list.

  5. Click the Edit button in the form app bar.

  6. Click the Delete button in the form app bar.

  7. Click the Save button in the app bar above the list.

When a record is about to be removed, a yellow status will be displayed to indicate the deletion.

Five will automatically adjust the remaining actions to fit the new amount of dashboard space that is available.


Cancel Changes

Cancel All Changes for a Dashboard Record

  1. Click the Cancel button in the form app bar.

Cancel Changes to a Field

  1. Click the Cancel button in the respective field and type a new value

  2. Click the Save button in the form app bar.
