Logging into Five

Log In With Your Five Account
Your Five account grants you access to the Five development environment. Inside the development environment, you will find everything you need to develop and deploy device-agnostic, full-stack web applications.
For your initial log in use the following credentials.
Username: admin
Password: Random generated password
Remember Me
Clicking the Remember Me checkbox tells the browser to save a cookie so that if you close out the window or log off from the site, the next time you return, your username will automatically be filled in. Ensure you have your browser set to accept cookies, or this functionality will not work. To have access to the Remember Me button you will need to accept in the Cookie Settings window.
Initial Sign In
Type admin in the Username field.
Type the supplied random generated password in the Password field.
Click the Accept button in the Cookie Settings window.
Click the Remember Me button.
Important
If you do not want your username stored, do not click the Accept button in the Cookie Settings window.
- Click the Sign in button.

Five will enforce you to change your password for security purposes on your initial login. Your new password will be required to have the following.
- A letter
- A number
- A symbol
- 8 to 16 characters
Type your password in the Password field.
Confirm your password in the Confirm Password field.
Click the Update Password button.

Five's License Agreement
On your initial login, you will be delivered Five's License Agreement. You will need to accept the terms and conditions before you can begin to commence building an application in Five.
Use the scroll bar to read Five's Terms of Service.
Click the Accept Terms and Conditions checkbox.
Click the Continue button.

After your initial sign in, Five's license agreement will not be delivered to you again unless an update has been made. In this event, you will need to accept Five's license agreement again.
Forgot Password
The Forgot Password button on Five's Sign in window allows a user to reset their password. An email will be sent to the user with a link and the user will be asked to enter their username and confirm a new password.
Only a user with the Administrator role can set the number of attempts a user can have to try to log in, if all attempts fail the account will be locked and the user will need to reset their password. The password is saved as a one-way hash meaning it cannot be restored, it must be reset.
- Click the Forgot Password button on Five's Sign in window.

- Click the Reset button.

If you did not select for your session to be remembered, you will need to type in your username in the username field.
- Click the OK button to reset the Sign in window.

Important
For the user to receive the password reset link you will need to:
- Have your SMTP Mail settings configured on the Mail Page on the Instance form.
- Have the User form completed for the user.
Log Off
Logging off will conclude your session.
Click the Profile button in the toolbar.
Click Logout.
