Trial Account to Basic Plan

Last updated 2/06/2025

With the Basic plan you can have 1 developer user. This user can either be assigned the Control role or the Developer role. Purchasing the Basic plan, Five by default will give you a user with the Control role. The control user has full access to all the functionality available in the Basic plan.

You can assign the Administrator role to unlimited users in your Five account. The Administrator role has access to the following areas:

  • Applications
  • Configuration
  • Users
  • Databases
  • Instances
  • User Audit Trail

A user with the Administrator role in a Basic plan can deploy to the development environment.

A user with the Administrator role will initially need to be created by the default Control user. The Administrator user can then edit or delete the Control user and add a Developer user if required.

A user with the Developer role has permissions to develop an application, however, does not have full permissions like a user with the Control role. The Developer role has the following restrictions:

  • Read access to Applications
  • No Configuration
  • No Users
  • No Databases
  • Limited access to Instances

A user with the Developer role in a Basic plan can deploy to the development environment.
