Adding and Managing Instances

This documentation will cover how to create and maintain instances. An instance record is designed for you to come back and forth and add your requirements as you need them.
Add an Instance
1. Navigate to the Instances view by selecting Setup in the menu and Instances in the sub-menu.

2. Click the Add Item button and give your instance a name.

3. Click the lookup icon in the Theme field and select a theme.
4. Click the Edit button in the Logo field, navigate and open an image file.
5. Optional: Click the lookup icon in the Small Logo field, navigate and open an image file.

6. Click the Save button in the form app bar.

Edit an Instance
If you make changes to an instance record while it is deployed to the development environment, you will not see these changes by clicking the Run button. You will need to remove the development deployment and re-deploy your instance of the application again.
1. Select the instance record in the list.2. Either click the Edit button in the form app bar or click in any field.

3. Make your changes.

An instance ID cannot be edited if it has been deployed. Please refer to the Introduction chapter to know how to edit an Instance ID.

4. Click the Save button in the form app bar.

Delete an Instance
An instance record cannot be deleted if it is deployed, you will need to remove it from deployment first.
1. Select the instance record in the list.2. Click the Edit button in the form app bar.

3. Click the Delete button.

Deleting an instance record will delete all configurations you have set for this instance of your application.

4. Click the Yes button.
