How to Add an Event

Once you have saved your function in either Five's Code Editor or in the Functions view, your function will be available in all the event fields in Five. The function needs to be selected from the lookup list to be attached to the event.

Add an Event

1. Select your record in the list and click the Events tab.

If you are attaching a record to a sub-form, you will need to navigate to the correct level to attach your event. For example, when attaching a function to a form field event, you will need to navigate to your form field record.

2. Either click the Edit button in the form app bar or click directly in an event field.

3. Click the lookup icon in the required event field and select your function.

4. Click the Save button in the form app bar.
